This is a 2015 Taiwanese Drama which has some similarities to Meteor Garden.
Ming Xiao Xi, who is kindhearted and a righteous girl, grows up in a humble family in a secluded village whose father is a KungFu Master in a Kungfu School. She's been trained by her father together with the other students. Her coarse of life changes when she got admitted in a prestigious university in Taiwan whose students are mostly from wealthy and influential families.
Mu Liu Bing has an independent and cold personality owing to his sad childhood experience. His mother committed suicide and he blames his father for this. Lui Bing, who is a capable, handsome student, happens to be the president of the elite group in the university together with his childhood friends Feng Jian Che and Dong Hao Nan. Elite members are mostly heirs to big companies in Taiwan. The officers have the utmost power and respected among the other students.
On Xiao Xi's first day, she got herself into a fight with the members of the said group. Just by helping her friend, who is also from her hometown, she becomes embroiled in the lives of Lui Bing , Jian Che and Hao Nan who are the big shots in the campus. Before she knew it, she became the number 1 public enemy. She was also accused of cheating in the exam. Lui Bing found out that she is innocent and decided to help her discreetly. Soon, Lui Bing moved to her rented house after he had an argument with his father whom he still hates. Due to her oath to Lui Bing , she has to honor one of his wish, which is to share her room and bed with him.
In this drama, Xiao Xi and Lui Bing develop feelings to each other. However, Lui Bing's heiress childhood friend Tie Shan xin in in love with him. His buddy Hao Nan has a crush on Sha Sin and Jian Che likes Xiao Xi. Can they still survive?

~Nowadays, I'm really into with "Detective thingy"...I like the thrill, mystery, following and solving cases and the lot. So, I'm kinda excited with this Japanese drama series.~
The episode opened showing a woman taking a shower in a big bathroom with an elegant bathtub covered with rose petals. There was also a man's voice on the background talking about how he sometimes wish he could forget some of his unwanted memories and wondering if everyone has also thought about this. But we human are not like as machines, bad memories stick to our minds and it's harder to even forget it. But in this world (in this drama world), as he continued his thoughts, there's someone who forgets everything, whether she wants to or not. And once its erased (forgotten) , it can never be restored...
At this company, especially EMI Laboratory, everyone was busy working when all of the sudden Chief Emii realized that the SD Card, that contains confidential data for the conference, was gone. Honda~kun was suggesting that it maybe was stolen or something. And they were all suspecting Kakushidate~kun who has been working for a month in their office. Kakushidate~kun tried to explain his self but his stuttering and sweating just made him more suspicious.
Let's have a look on Kakushidate Yakusuke. He believe that he will always suffer from misfortunes because of his name (In Japanese Yaku means misfortune) and this situation is one these things. So, when his colleagues suspected him, he was smiling crazily thinking how he would get himself out of this situation.
His colleagues decided to call a police but Yakusuke~kun asked them to let him call a private detective.
And the next thing we know is that we are in a different place ~ SANDGLASS APARTMENTS, watching someone who was pouring some tea into the cup when suddenly the phone rang. He asked Makuru~chan ( Makuma Makuru ~ the waitress and a border in this place) and Nuru~kun (Narikawa Nuru ~ Janitor/cleaner/helper and also a border) to answer the phone but they were both busy. He (Kizunai Horo ~Owner) was obliged to answer it himself.
The caller was no other than Yakusuke~kun himself. He was asking Horo~san to send Kudo~chan (a detective) to his office because he was in a big trouble ~ which was not a big news to Horo~san (I think he is used to Yakusuke being in trouble). Unfortunately, the detective has already retired and went to the countryside to make soba. But Yakusuke badly needed one so he asked Horo~san to find another. Anyone will do as long as it’s a detective of course.
Horo~san did find someone who can only accept cases that can be solve in a day. She is an excellent detective with a motto of "Speedy Resolution" and can't be requested in advance. She takes cash as a payment on the day only if she was successful. Her memory resets every day. Her name is Okitegami Kyoko.

The SD in question was definitely in Chief Emii's desk last night.

The room was locked and there was no evidence that someone entered during that night. At 9 the next day morning (which is the current day), Hasune~san and Honda~san were the first to arrived followed by Gifubu~san and Yakusuke~kun. All of them went to their respective locker first for their things and pass through the "scanner something" (I don't know how to call it. Like the picture below...) for security measures. Two hours later, Chief Emii arrived and noticed that the SD card was missing.
In other words, the SD was stolen between 9 and 11 am.
The desk wasn't locked, so everyone had the chance to steal it.
As a prime suspect, Yakusuke was searched first and so was the others. No one had it on them, neither in their bags. And that's the time Kyoko arrived.
Kyoko noticed that the prints on the pen Cheif Emii~san's using says "MINABAKA" but the company's name is "MINABARA" ("MINNA" in Japanese means "Everyone" and "BAKA" means "Stupid"..so MINABAKA is like "Everyone is stupid..LOL.). They explained that the printers made a mistake. Instead of MINABARA, they had printed MINABAKA. These pens can't be taken outside and only the employees can use them.
Kyoko asked about what's in the missing SD card. At first, they all hesitated to tell everything to her. But when she explained that her memory resets everyday and by the next day she will all forget what happened the previous day, they gave in. They were all shocked. Kyoko added that she's been like this for 6 years and showed a medical certificate as proof. When she falls asleep, everything (her memories before sleeping) will be gone. That's why she's in Level A Detective in terms of confidentiality.
The Lab is engaged in developing a contact lens-type display. The data summarized for the conference includes pre-patented technologies. And if Gongole Company (rival company) gets hold of it, all their efforts and hard work will be gone for nothing. That's how important the SD card is.
Kyoko inteviewed all of them one by one in the storage room. She also asked them to check all the remaining SD cards labels and contents. There's a possibility that the "thief" would try to hide by changing the label of the Card to camouflage.
As Kyoko was talking to Chief Emii (the interview), Yakusuke was preparing tea for everyone while the others just finished checking the SD cards but they were not able to find the "missing one".
It was already 2 PM and it was Yakusuke's turn to be interviewed. As Yakusuke was carrying the cups with tea, Honda~san speculated that what if Kyoko and Yakusuke were in cahoots. Gifubu~san also added that what if he(Yakusuke) will give or pass the card to her (They all really believe that Yakusuke is the culprit). And they remembered that they haven't checked his shoes.These thoughts boosted up the suspicion and they searched him all over again.
After the ruckus, Kyoko interviewed Yakusuke in the storage room while drinking the tea. She asked the same questions to him. Yakusuke believed that there was never a culprit. The Card might be dropped somewhere or lost accidentally. It's nobody's crime and fault. He has very much faith in people. He explained that he has been experiencing a series of bad luck in his entire life. When he was on his way to work, he saw a bag on the bench in the park. He took it and was planning to return it to the owner or take it to the police station. But he was shocked when a group of policemen just grabbed and pinned him down. He later found out that the bag has ransom money and the police were hiding somewhere at the park waiting for the criminal to take it. Whereever he goes, he always has bad luck. He said that he's been always accused of crimes and fired. He reasoned out that because of his bad luck, he's continually suspected. That's why he won't suspect anyone. But it doesn't mean that would confess to a crime that he did not commit. Also, he told her to not be too close with him 'cause she might catch his bad luck. He's been told a lot of times that bad luck is contagious. (really??!!..I think so..)
Kyoko told Yakusuke to not worry. She has an idea of who is the culprit and the SD Card's location. She knows and is sure that he's innocent and she can prove it. Yakusuke was really happy. He maybe doesn't believe that God exist but maybe there's an angel. (He's referring Kyoko as an angel.)
But there's one thing that Kyoko didn't understand. The security gate (the scanner something...every personnel has to go through this security gate before going to their respective department or laboratory..)at the entrance to the research facility uses's Minabara's own system and can detect any devices and gadgets. Even if an SD card was swallowed or hidden within the body, it still can be detected. Taking an SD card outside requires an electronic permit from the person in charge. So, stealing a card doesn't make any sense if it can't be taken away. That's the thing Kyoko'san wanted to know...but as she talking Yakusuke, she feels sleepy. And if she falls asleep, she will forget everything. But she assured Yakusuke that won't fall asleep 'cause she had plenty of sleep last night.
For Kyoko, her condition is not something that should make her feel sad. She thinks of it as a happy thing. Everyday is full of fresh and surprising discoveries. Yakusuke was envious of Kyoko because she is really an optimistic person. As for him, all he can think about is how to live each day uneventfully.
While he was talking about these things, Kyoko fell asleep....
And Yakusuke is in big trouble. Again...
He immediately called Horo~san (the owner of SANDGLASS APARTMENTS). Horo~san thinks that the tea must have been drugged. It sometimes happens. A criminal puts Kyoko~san to sleep so she doesn't uncover their crime. And she forget things when she sleep, so it's easy. For Yakusake, having this condition is too dangerous and it's a big weakness as a detective. That's why Horo~san told him that as a client, he should have looked after her better. Also, the investigation's back to square one. And so Yakusuke was agitated. Horo~san pointed out that there's one clue. The person who drugged the tea is guilty. But the thing is, the person who prepares the tea is Yakusuke himself. (Is he the culprit?...what do you think?.)
While talking to Horo~san, Kyoko woke up. And she's shocked to see him. Horo~san told him that when she wakes up, it's her habit to look at her watch so he shouldn't worry.
But she's not wearing a watch at the moment. Horo~san just told him "good luck" and hung the phone.
While looking Kyoko was looking at her wrist, she noticed that something was written in her arms.
Yakusuke tried to introduce his self again. (They are still in the room. Yakusuke didn't tell the others about what just happened.) Kyoko is still disoriented. She checked the date and looked for another "messages" written in her body. She checked her legs and stomach. After a few minutes(when Kyoko already understand the situation, maybe), she introduced herself to Yakusuke while giving her business card. (In Japan, it's normal for Japanese to give business card to others if they've met them for the first time.) Yakusuke who is still new to this situation told Kyoko that they have already met earlier. Kyoko apologized for sleeping during work and asked him to tell the circumstances from the start.
After the explanation, he asked her if she suspects him as the culprit since he's the one who prepares the tea and she's already forgotten who the culprit is. Kyoko doesn't suspects him and it's a big relief for him. She asked him that if he stole the confidential file, would he send it via internet maybe by email? Yakusuke explained that for security measures, the lab computers aren't linked to outside. These days, if you want to be connected, you can exchange files via "CLOUD" (CLOUD is a repository on the internet..you can saved data from your computer..and you can access this from the outside.)
Yakusuke is very worried at the moment. Another false accusation and he will be fired and might even be arrested. But Kyoko is willing to stake her reputation for this case. She will never forgive the culprit for erasing her memory.
Kyoko told everyone that to solve the case, she has to investigate first " The murder of Okitegami Kyoko". Everyone was shocked because Kyoko is absolutely alive and she is talking to the right now. But Kyoko said:
"1 hour ago, I was killed. This is clearly a murder case."
...And the investigation continues...
Everyone knew that there was sleeping drugs in Cheif Emii's desk.
Kyoko also noticed that there were no sugar, milk and even stirrer.
And she came up with an idea..They went to the storage room.
She let everyone to write "I AM INNOCENT" in a piece of paper saying that the culprit will not be able to write this. She also explained that the culprit added that sleeping drugs to the tea when they searched Yakusuke for the second time. However, the drugs is a herbal medicine with large grains and it would be noticeable unless you stirred in. But there's no stirrer in the lab and any rod-shaped around. The only option is to use the employees pen. They all have own pen. (They always carry it with them.) The culprit stirred the tea with his/her own pen. Everyone uses the erasable ballpoint pen. It's a great invention that erases using friction heat. Also, the ink turns colourless when it reaches 60 degree Celsius. So hot water would also erase it. The water in the cup was about 80 degree Celsuis. So, if you stir your pen in that cup....(..you do the calculations...thinking time..)
And the culprit is Gifubu~san. Everyone but Gifubu~san didn't write something in her paper. She knows that Kyoko is right. She can write using the pen but the problem is that you wont be able to read it.It's because the ink is colourless.
Everyone told Kyoko that they've searched Gifubu~san earlier and they are all sure that she doesn't have the card with her. Kyoko explained that Gifubu~san usually has her hair down but during that time (the ruckus earlier...) she tied her hair. And she hide the SD card in her tied hair.
Gifubu~san explained that she never intend to take the card out of the company. She just wanted to cause trouble. She has been working for 3 years and she never had any raise. She was envious of Honda~san whose wage raised steadily. She stole the card and was planning to pin the crime on him. She planned to put the card in Honda's clear bag but the chief arrived unexpectedly. The loss was discovered and during the commotion that followed, she hid the card secretly in hair hair.
Kyoko received her pay and of course, in cash, from Chief Emii.
Gifubu~san took a voluntary redundancy. Chief Emii also found out that Hasune~san, who made assessments, was in relationship with Honda~san.
But for Kyoko, she still doesn't believe Gifubu~san's excuse. She can't believe Gifubu~san drugged her for just a simple harassment.
As Kyoko and Yakusuke were walking out of the building, they talked about Yakusuke's unluckiness...
Yakusuke keeps saying that he has bad luck, but Kyoko thinks he's just overthinking. It's because he's mired in pessimism that he's convinced his luck is bad. In other words, the bad luck is all in his mind.
But Yaskusuke retorts that the meteorite falling .. (When he was young, he was on his way to school when a meteorite fall / landed in front of him..that's the reason he didn't make it on time to school..)...wasn't in his mind nor was his unfortunate life so far. But for Kyoko, seeing the meteorite is lucky. And she's not making fun of Yakusuke. Yakusuke deceided to just stop explaining things to her as she will just forget everything by tomorrow.
As he excuse his self, Kyoko remembered something...she was searching "something" in her arms, legs....Yakusuke was so shocked by this action that he immediately covered Kyoko by using his body from the passersby. But Kyoko didn't care any of this as she was busy searching...(like a memo or something)..
By the time she found what she's looking for, she called someone in her phone. She asked that "someone" to urgently investigate something.
Yakusuke can't believe how Kyoko just behaved like that...He was doing his best to cover her but Kyoko behaves like it's just nothing...He excused his self while Kyoko was talking to somebody in her phone.
While waiting at the pedestrian lane for the stop light, he was still thinking what Kyoko said earlier about his bad luck.
He didn't notice that Kyoko was just a few meters behind him. He was so busy wondering about his bad life when suddenly a group of men in black suits from the white van grabbed him by surprise and forcefully took him into the van...(in a nutshell, he was abducted..)
And of course, Kyoko saw everything that have just happened.
He was brought in a Japanese Traditional house..He later found out that this is Satoi~sensei's house.

Shigennobu~san angrily asked Yakusuke to give back the one million yen that he stole. He's thinking that Yakusuke was holding grudge because he was fired. (...and Yakusuke is in this situation again...being accused of something he didn't do..) He worked here as an assistant about 6 months ago. Yakusuke tried to ask Sensei about the lost money but Satoi~sensei wouldn't give a single word about it.
Luckily, Kyoko~san followed him or shall I say the van. She just barged into the house because she wanted to see Kakushidate~san ..(Kyoko calls him ~Yakusuke~ using his family name since she just knew him for a day...in Japan..this is normal and Formal way..) She told Yakusuke that being embroiled in 2 cases in a day is certainly unusual. He really does have incredidbly bad luck. She apologized for saying (earlier) that it was just in his mind. She have corrected her assumption. As for Yakusuke, the fact that this situation helped confirm his bad luck just made him feel conflicted. Kyoko didn't comment on that and just said that if she is not needed then she'll be leaving.
Of course, Yakusuke asked for her help. Kyoko indeed helped him with conditions. He needs to pay her normal fee plus extra for night work and also for the taxi fare. After having the negotiation with Yakusuke, she immediately introduced herself to Shigennobu~san and Satoi~sensei.
Kyoko guessed that Satoi~sensei is a prominent manga artist and Shigennobu~san is from a major publisher. Simply because the house is in a prime location. It's also decorated with trophies and posters and the van from the abduction has the publisher's name on it. And she was right...
And so the investigation began....
Satoi~sensei is a manga artist and Shigennobu~san is her editor. In that morning, there was a threatening message on Sensei's official website. The meaning was unclear.The message was " I HAVE YOUR ONE MILLION YEN. " It was true that a million yen has been stolen but the rest of the message was the problem. "IF YOU WANT YOUR ONE MILLION YEN BACK PREPARE 10 MILLION YEN." Nobody would pay 10 million yen to get one million back. (It doesn't make sense right minna~san..)..Shigennobu~san suspected Yakusuke, so Kyoko asked him why. He explained that Yakusuke was always saying that he had no money and he behaved suspiciously when he worked there.
As for the missing money, Satoi~sensei told Kyoko that it was in her desk in the back work room. All her assistants didn't know that, even Shigennobu~san. Kyoko asked her if there was something special signifincance to the money that was stolen. It's because it's not normal to demand 10 million yen for its return. She's asking if there's a secret about that million yen. But Satoi~sensei denied this speculation and was planning to go to the bank first thing by the next day and transfer 10 million yen to the specified account saying that she didn't want the police to be involve. Shigennobu~san told her that even if she will pay there no guarantee that she will get it back. They may even ask for another 10 million yen. But Sensei retorted that she'll just pay them again if that's what it takes to satisfy the culprit and calm their rage. She will even pay 100 million yen which was a big a shock for everyone.
Kyoko wondered if Sensei is wealthy. Yakusuke explained that she is a top class manga artist. But Sensei is surpringly miserly. He saw her many times. After work, she would count banknotes.
Kyoko thought that Yakusuke did know that Sensei kept money in her desk. This assumption made Shigennobu~san to really believe that Yakusuke is the culprit. Of course, he told everyone that he's not. He just remembered. Kyoko asked if there's a computer on the desk and he answered that there was. Kyoko just nodded with a smile on her face after hearing the answer.
Sensei's works are grand and elaborate. Kyoko asked Sensei if she just keep all her ideas in her head when she's writing a complex story. She also told her that in her case, she writes on her skin so she won't forget.
Sensei said that she is not confident in her memory but she thinks that she can't do as what Kyoko does. She has a notebook instead. After saying this, Sensei just keep quiet realizing that she shouldn't have said that.
Kyoko said that Sensei had an idea who the culprit was. Based from the situation, it must be someone who knows her well. They (culprit) were able to go in and out of the house and knew about the one million yen.
Sensei didn't comment on that saying that she had to get back to work. Explaining that her assistants were waiting for tomorrow night's deadline and immediately leave the room. ~I think she's avoiding..this is just an excuse...~
Kyoko's attention turned to Shigennobu~san. He said that it could be Sensei's Chief Assistant, Saryu~san. She left suddenly just before this (the situation). She'd worked with them the longest.
Yakusuke added that when he was still working there, he sometimes had a conversation with Saryu~san. One time, she told him that she already reached this age (her current age) without selling. She doesn't think she can have her own series. Lately, she had felt that she's pretty happy in her situation because she's working to someone who is amazing like Satoi~sensei and she can be involved in wonderful works. She really does love manga after all.
Kyoko asked Shigenobu~san to let his subordinates (the men in black suits) find Saryu~san in her house or maybe Internet Cafes.
As Kyoko explained further, based from Sensei's reaction, it's certain that Saryu~san's the culprit. It's obvious considering the secret of the one million yen and Kyoko knows the secret though it's a presumption.
Before telling "the secret", she asked both of them in what cases do they think a million yen would be worth more than a million yen.
As she was about to drink the tea, Yakusuke stopped her believing that there might be something in it again. Kyoko retorted that Shigenobu~san has no reason to put her to sleep. But Yakusuke explained that he carries bad luck. For instance, if someone tried to drug someone in the past, some hypnotic ingredients might be on the cup and put her to sleep by chance. Kyoko was not interested and just answered back that she got it and he's a tedious person.
Shigenobu~san interrupted both of them and continued about "the secret" of the million yen. He guessed that the million yen could have a memory associated with it perhaps her first ever royalties. But Kyoko asked him if it would worth 10 million yen and he realized that it wouldn't. Yakusuke guessed about the serial numbers in banknotes.
These numbers are special. For example, if the number is "111 111", a 10,000 yen note could sell for 300,000. The million yen stolen could be rare banknotes with a value of 10 million. But Kyoko just said that if its the case, she (Karyu~san) should just sell them. Kyoko also appreciated Yakusuke's idea saying that it was great.
Kyoko asked them to recall the question she had asked Sensei earlier. Something that seemed unrelated at first glance. And that was about the notebook. Both of them (Shigenobu~san and Yakusuke) exclaimed that "the banknotes are the notebook itself". Explaining that Sensei writes her ideas in the margins...but they just realized that the margins were so tiny so it's impossible to write something.
Kyoko told them another key point. It's about Sensei's unnatural behaviour. She said she'd go to the bank first thing the next day. A special trip, when a deadline is looming, is unnatural. Also,she has signed for internet banking. If you want a transfer as soon as possible, it can be done from a computer. The reason she didn't do it (like the online transaction) is that she can't . Sensei can't currently access her account without looking at her notebook.
Shigenobu~san asked the whereabouts of the notebook. Was it stolen with the money?.
Kyoko elucidated that Sensei's notebook is in the internet repository. (Do you remember about the CLOUD?..the internet data storage..). Everything on the internet requires passwords. It's very important to vary passwords for safety. But Sensei has no confidence in her memory. So she used a password that already existed, which is the banknote's serial number. Rather than counting them each night, she was checking the password to access her notebook. And also, for online shopping and such. If one of the banknotes contains one of her passwords, 10 million would make sense. Among them, THE CLOUD, contained all Sensei's unpublished ideas. That could be worth more than 100 million yen.
Shigenobu~san and Yakusuke didn't notice that Sensei was just behind them and heard everything. Kyoko asked her what had happened with Saryu~san.
The next thing we knew was that Saryu~san was in an Internet Cafe with the banknotes trying the serial number..
Sensei told them that Saryu~san was her right hand and she really relied on her. but she was a little off in the previous week. She didn't have enough sleep and a lot of things are happening at work and in private. She had said something rude to her while her other subordinates were in the room. Saying that it must be nice that she (Saryu~san) felt she's making something even though she have never created anything. After that, Saryu~san never said anything and finally stopped coming in. It was after that Sensei noticed the money had gone.
She didn't tell this to Shigenobu~san. She said that in her stories, she writes about treasuring people, and being kind, and things like that....It's too late to make excuses, so she thought it would be enough to get the money back and put an end to the situation.
Yakusuke thought that if they don't find it soon, things might turn dangerous. Saryu~san knows better than anyone about the value of Satoi~san's cloud data. Witnessing those overwhelming talent, maybe she can't endure it.
At that moment, Saryu~san successfully gained access to the account and was planning to delete all the files.
Shigenobu~san's subordinates found Saryu~san and the 1 million yen has been recovered. The cloud data was a step away from being erased. It's safe. Also, Saryu~san thanked Shigenobu~san's subordinates for stopping her.
From that moment, she will never draw manga again.
And the case was closed.
As they were walking..they talked about Sensei's case.
Yakusuke said that they (Sensei and Saryu) had a really good relationship. In spite of all the good memories, it was overturned with just a word.
For Kyoko, rather than good memories, bad ones linger much more strongly. People bound by bad memories stray from the path.
In the meanwhile, Gifubu~san and Chief Emii were at the office reminiscing about the past while looking at their old photo together with Hasune~san and Honda~san. Chief Emii was checking the contents of the SD Card when he came upon the old photo.
Gifubu~san recalled that back then, she was full of hope. Believing that if someone has the ability, they will be appreciated. She asked Chief Emii if he knew about the nearly a million yen difference between her annual income and Honda~san's. She waited 3 years for that to be remedied. But Chief Emii said that he never knew. He left it all to Hasune~san. Chief Emii took the SD out of the SD card reader saying that he had checked all the contents and there was no problem.
Kyoko and Yakusuke were still talking about just what happened.
Yakusuke wished that people's memories could be restored. Saying that we could erase just the bad memories and keep the good ones from before. Like restoration software on a computer. After hearing this, Kyoko realized something about Gifubu~san plan. Her intention really was to take the SD card out of the lab. But Yakusuke was still confused. So Kyoko explained further. If Gifubu~san took the confidential SD card itself, she'd quickly be found out. So she copied the data onto another SD card. She planned to take the copy from the start. But Yakusuke said that they never found the other SD...Kyoko retorted that to hide a tree, use the forest. However the tree appeared to have been deleted. Gifubu~san erased the confidential data on the assumption it could be restored. She disguised it as a nondescript SD Card and asked for an electronic permit. That way she could pass the security gate safely. Later, she would use a restoration data to restore the deleted data. She's someone who endured unfair evaluation for 3 years. She's not a fool who'd steal confidential data to harass someone. If she does something, she plans seriously. If their secrets were leaked this way, the lab team would be disbanded. And Yakusuke would lose his job. But kyoko told him to that the investigation was ongoing which came as a shocked to Yakusuke. Kyoko explained that it's her principle to value he clients. Earlier when Kyoko was searching something in her body while Yakusuke was trying to hide her from the passersby, she was searching for a number.
She asked Nuru~kun to investigate something. She wanted to know if Gifubu~san had entered or left the rival company. He confirmed that she was there.
At that moment, Chief Emii gave a electronic permit to the SD card and gave the SD to Gifubu~san. Gifubu~san immediately left the lab and went through the security gate with the SD.
And she was cleared.
After getting out of the building she get on a cab and use a restoration software to recover the deleted data as what Kyoko predicted and was headed toward Gongole, the rival company.
Nuru~kun was the driver of that cab and delayed her as much as he could as per Kyoko's instructions. But still they arrived at Gongole Company before Kyoko and Yakusuke could.
Kyoko and Yakusuke arrived just as Gifubu~san was about to enter the company building. Kyoko told her that she will forget about Gifubu~san stealing her memory but in return she (Gifubu~san) must also forget the accumulated hate,the feelings of frustration and the bad memories. Kyoko also added that she doesn't know if Gifubu~san can do it but that's all she can do. ~I think it's about forgive and forget~...And Kyoko took the SD card.
Nuru~kun took his service fee from Kyoko saying that he has to get it in that moment for she will forget everything by the next day and he offered her a ride going back to the apartment, SANDGLASS. But she declined the offer and waited for Yakusuke.
Yakusuke told Kyoko that he was startled when Kyoko just suddenly ran across the busy street (with a lot of vehicles running) with him. Kyoko explained that she felt she'd be safe if she's with him. Hearing this, Yakusuke was shocked. Kyoko added that since he has incredibly bad luck, if a car hits them, he would take the brunt. She would get off unscathed. That was her conjecture. And Yakusuke couldn't believe this kind of reasoning which leaves him speechless.
Kyoko was happy for the case was solved. Yakusuke asked her if it matter, for she will have forgotten all of it by the next day. Kyoko answered that for her there is only today. She doesn't want it to be a day she regret. And she excused herself.
Yakusuke asked her if he can request for her again. Kyoko answered with a smile.
Yes. If possible, Id like a memorably difficult case.
