This is a story between a mermaid from Joseon era and a human in the modern time, her struggles and adventures in modern-day.
This drama is inspired by a classic Joseon legend from Korea's first collection of unofficial historical tales. The tale is about a fisherman captures and releases a mermaid, this drama tells the love story between the son of a noble family in Joseon era and a mermaid.
This drama series will be the last acting role for Lee Min-Ho before he enters into the military for approximately 2 years. His major breakthrough was the BOYS OVER FLOWER as Ku Jun-pyo. He also starred in CITY HUNTER which was based from Japanese Manga By Tsukasa Hojo.
This is also the first acting role for Gianna Jun after giving birth to her first child. She starred in the drama MY LOVE FROM THE STAR and the movie MY SASSY GIRL.
